A Summer Symphony is a large-scale floral composition grown and photographed in my garden, celebrating the abundance of summer. The stunning green vase is from the 1800’s, I wonder what flowers filled the vase in its early days, I simply love working with it. This is a real love affair with summer flowers. Dahlias, David Austin roses, campanula, Flemish Antique poppies, foxgloves, tobacco flower, pops of bright golden Geum, nigella, delphinium, nasturtium and pansies come together in a quiet chorus of form, colour and texture.
Guided by the natural grace of each stem, the arrangement follows no rigid structure. The flowers themselves lead, their curves and gestures shaping the rhythm of the work. Every stem is honoured, each bloom stands as its own hero, with no understudies here..
Inspired by Old Masters floral paintings but reimagined through a contemporary lens.
Arranged and Photographed by Laura.
These are photographed using natural light with real flowers from our garden. It’s important to note that I do not use AI in the making of these images, I want to show them as they really are.
This beautiful fine art print is a limited edition and individually printed to order just for you on archival Fine Art Etching Cotton Rag 330gsm. Because these pieces are printed to order we cannot accept any returns or offer credits or refunds so please choose your artwork carefully.

The Print and the Paper
Printing: Giclée Archival Inkjet Print
Paper: Fine Art Etching Cotton Rag 330gsm matte
Your artwork will be printed on premium Fine Art Etching Cotton Rag 330gsm matte paper, this is museum quality for highest age resistance. It will be rolled in a tube and shipped directly to you from the printers and include a signed certificate of authentication. Please ask your framer to attach this to the back of the frame. All prints come unframed with a 10mm white handling border. It has a delicate surface so we recommend extra care when handling. As much as I understand the desire to open your parcel as soon as you have received it, I strongly advise not opening the tube but give directly to your framer to handle, they will use special gloves to avoid finger prints and be working in a space that protects the paper. Your artwork is an investment and very precious so I recommend asking your framer to use a protective non-reflective artglass with a UV filter, this will greatly reduce any potential fading. I recommend either UV70 or museum glass.
